Social Responsibility
A part of being an ethical company is to help others. We aim to do this in a structured and focused way to maximize the impact of our efforts.

We think long term. Where we can, we use technology and the volunteering power of our team to further enhance effectiveness and reach. We are not afraid of bold ideas.
We help communities directly and work together with local grassroots organizations to make sure we're giving the support they need.
We have three focus areas - Education, Environment and Emergencies.
“Business has both a responsibility and opportunity to have a positive impact on the world. Helping others is built into our DNA.”
Petr Valov Chief Executive Officer

Focus areas
Education
Education is the foundation of long-term change. That's why we invest in projects across the educational spectrum, from providing crucial supplies to primary schools to top academic scholarship programs.

Environment
Environmental protection has never been more important. We want to play our part. Among other programs, we have started reforestation projects which we will expand in the coming years. We are also looking at our own environmental footprint, and engaging with expert NGOs to ensure long-term sustainability.

Emergencies
Being a private company with global reach, we can make a real and effective impact during local and global crises. We have made substantial donations towards fighting the COVID-19 pandemic, and are currently involved in humanitarian efforts connected to disaster relief operations across the world.

How we help
Covid-19 has changed the world and impacted all of us. Early on in 2020, we identified some urgent needs and made a €1 million pledge toward fighting the pandemic. We ended up spending even more than that on the following main projects:
Donated 23 ventilators to Cyprus ICUs, 14 of which were urgently flown in from China in early 2020.
Increased Cyprus' testing capacity with three extractors provided to main local medical labs (CING), helping Cyprus to respond early.
Provided large volumes of medical masks, protective suits and ambulance equipment, flown into Cyprus from China at a crucial time.
Donated funds to Thai and Vietnamese Covid-19 hospitals.
Organized a lottery to increase vaccination rates among under 30s together with TechIsland Cyprus, and donated three cars to the winners.
